Description

Contagua is a SaaS software specialized in water meter management and water consumption tracking, aimed at companies, residential communities, municipalities, and water providers.

Its main objective is to digitize, automate, and optimize meter reading, consumption monitoring, and the detection of issues such as leaks or abnormal consumption.

Objective

The objective of this project was to design and develop a SaaS platform specialized in the intelligent management of water meters and real-time water consumption analysis.

The solution was created with the purpose of digitizing traditionally manual processes, such as meter readings and consumption tracking, providing companies, residential communities, municipalities, and water providers with a centralized, accessible, and scalable tool.

Through automation and data usage, the system enables optimized water management, improved operational efficiency, and early detection of issues such as leaks or abnormal consumption patterns.

The project was developed using technologies such as Django for the backend, along with Python, JavaScript, and Bootstrap to build a functional, responsive user interface focused on user experience, ensuring a robust, maintainable, and scalable system.

Additionally, the project focuses on usability, scalability, and data-driven decision-making, transforming operational information into real value for efficient water resource management.
